The low-key, yet luxurious, thatched cabanas of Sen Wellness are nestled in Rekawa’s expansive lagoon. Guests will tread along suspended walkways, peering at wildlife below, to twin or king-sized rooms with natural ventilation on the beach. The four double-story cabanas are encompassed by mangroves, the lagoon and the beautiful golden sands lined with palms. Each cabana has 8 rooms, with 4 rooms on each level. Bathrooms are open to the elements so guests can star gaze whilst enjoying a shower.
Whilst staying at Sen Wellness, you will be accommodated in one a low key en suite luxury cabana. With only 8 rooms, the space is quiet and intimate. The thatched cabanas have been made by local artisans representing the excellent craftsmanship of southern Sri Lanka.
Treatments offered at the Sen Wellness Sanctuary begin with a diagnostic consultation from the in-house Ayurvedic Doctor to determine your Doshas or body constitution. After the diagnosis, a course of daily treatments using unique oil and herbal medicine is tailormade to the indvidual. These treatments include lots of oil based massages (full body, head, shoulder, hand, foot), herbal pouches, body scrubs, steams, herbal inhalations, face masks and shirodhara. Ayurveda seeks to create balance and harmony, which can become disrupted with the stress of busy work lives. Through understanding your own unquie dosha type, the treatment program will assist you to centre and rebalance.
Other beneficial sessions include a healing gong bath, meditation and additional sound healing sessions.
Sen Wellness focuses on Kundalini yoga, the yoga of awareness. Kundalini yoga is very accessible and classes are open to all levels, but private yoga sessions are also available. Other group experiences include group healing, dance and music workshops.
If you would like to venture into the surrounding area, you may take a lagoon safari, visit a sacred temple, go turtle watching or try a cooking master class. For an additional fee, guests may participate in watersports or embark on a whale watching excursion.

Sen Wellness is located in a pristinely beautiful national park, home to a protected turtle nesting beach in the southern part of Sri Lanka.
After an arrival at Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport, a drive to Breath of Life Sanctuary takes only one hour and fifteen minutes. Otherwise, arrivals into Ratmalana Airport will require a three hour and fifteen minute drive and arrivals into Bandaranaike International airport will take a three hour and forty minute drive.
